ROLE
Produce Output and ensure it meets the required standard in terms of quality and time.
Produce relevant reports as required to show progress against targets and budgetary knowledge and management reports as required.
Use a range of GIS software.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Hands on fibre planning experience for a minimum of 2+ years.
In depth knowledge of fibre optic telecommunications network architecture and design knowledge of FTTx.
Highly skilled, experienced, and organised Network Designer.
Previous management experience or experience of leading a team is a plus.
GIS Software experience, eg QGIS, ArcGIS is a must.
Ability to ensure that the highest standards of quality and network integrity are maintained, and records updated accordingly.
Previous experience with following clients is appreciated (Virgin Media, Kelly, CFL, BT, SIRO).
Ideally experience of PIA projects.
Previous use, or an awareness of GIS systems (Smallworld, Geostruct).
Knowledge on PON planning in underground and overhead deliver.
Knowledge and understanding of lit fibre services.
FTTx methodologies and design.
Civils and Cable Planning Knowledge.
